Popeye Curry

Good Morning Everyone, It’s a Beautiful morning here in Japan. There are no clouds in the sky and there’s a cool breeze blown. Well, today’s recipe is called Popeye Curry. Here’s Japan we have taken the Curry recipe from India, and mixed it up a little Japanese style. My family is a big Curry Fan, but not the spicy type though.
Ingredients
  • 150g ground chicken
  • 150g onion
  • 50g spinach
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 10g ginger
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • A:
  • 100cc water
  • 3 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tbsp curry powder
  • 1 cube chicken soup stock cube
  • ½ tsp salt
  • B : For Turmeric Rice:
  • 2 cup rice
  • 2.4 cup water
  • ⅓ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vegetable oil
  • ⅓ tsp turmeric powder

Instructions
  1. Cut the onion, garlic, and ginger into finely minced. Boil the spinach and cut the minced.
  2. To make Turmeric Rice: Wash the rice and drain on a sieve. Place the ingredients for “B” into a rice cooker and cook.
  3. Heat the butter in a frying pan over a medium heat. Add the garlic, ginger, and onion and fry until golden brown. Add the ground chicken and continue fry.
  4. Add the ingredients for “A” and reduce a low heat and simmer for about 20min.
  5. Season with salt, and add the spinach, simmer briefly.
  6. Put the curry on the turmeric rice on plate.
