Easy Onion Soup 簡単オニオンスープ

Today’s Japanese Cooking Recipe is called Onion Soup or 簡単オニオンスープ in Japanese. This is a great recipe for that cold weather, like today. I made this for the family for breakfast this morning, cause of the chilly morning. This is very easy to make. Enjoy. Let’s get started with what we need to make our Onion Soup.
Ingredients
  • ½ onion
  • 400 cc water
  • 1 cube soup stock bouillon cube
  • ½ tsp konbu salt
  • pepper

Instructions
  1. Cut the onion into thinly slices.
  2. Pour the water into a pot, and bring to the boil, add the bouillon cube and onion, when the onion is tender, adjust the flavor with konbu salt. Arrange to the bowl or soup cup, sprinkle the pepper.
