Sashimi Cube Tuna まぐろの角造り

Today’s Japanese Style Cooking is called Sashimi Cube Tuna or まぐろの角造り in Japanese. This is a great dish for when you have guest over and when Tuna is inexpensive at the market. Very easy to make and delicious too. Enjoy.
Ingredients
  • 200g Tuna
  • 100g Yam, peel and grate
  • 8 leaves Green perillas, cut into finely strips
  • soy sauce
  • wasabi

Instructions
  1. Cut the tuna into 2-3 ㎝ wide slices.
  2. Pre-heat water to 90℃, and parboil the tuna for about 10 seconds in order to white its surface. Run it under water, and gently remove the excess water.
  3. Cut the tuna into 2-3 cm cubes.
  4. Serve the tuna in a plate and garnish with grated yam, green perillas, wasabi and soy sauce.
