Ingredients
  • 2 pack soft tofu
  • 3 tbsp grated white radish
  • 2-3 asatsuki chive
  • ⅓ cup dashi stock
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp mirin
  • potato starch
  • vegetable oil for deep frying

Instructions
  1. Wrap the tofu with a paper towel and place on a tray, and let stand for 30 min to eliminate excess moisture. Cut the asatsuki chive into the edge cut.
  2. Cut the tofu in half, coat thinly with potato starch and deep fry in oil(preheat to 170℃). When the tofu turn light brown and float up to surface, take out of the pan and drain on a tray.
  3. Place the dashi stock, soy sauce and mirin in a small pot, and bring to the boil to make sauce.
  4. Arrange the tofu on a plate, and pour on the sauce, garnish with grated white radish and asatsuki chive.
