Today on Cooking Japanese Style I have a recipe called Fried Pepper with Baby Sardines or ピーマンとちりめんじゃこの炒め物 in Japanese. This is a great side dish for any main course meal. I usually make this for the hubby only because the kids and I didn’t eat sardines. Somehow we all get a rash from eating it. This is very easy to make and I hope you enjoy this recipe. Let’s see what ingredients we need to make our Fried Pepper with Baby Sardines dish.
Ingredients
  • 20g dried baby sardine
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sake
  • sesame oil

Instructions
  1. Cut the pepper into bite-size pieces.
  2. Heat the sesame oil in a pan, fry the dried baby sardine. Add the pepper, soy sauce, and sake, continue to fry.
  3. When the pepper is softening, arrange on a dish.
