Bagel(ベーグル)

Ingredients
  • 1 egg
  • 250cc warm water
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • ☆ 350g bread flour
  • ☆ 170g flour
  • ☆ 1⅓ tsp dried yeast
  • ☆ 1 tsp salt
  • ☆ 4 tbsp honey for boil

Instructions
  1. Combine the bread flour and flour. Drop the egg into a large bowl and beat. Add the honey, oil, and warm water and mix well. Sift the half flour and adding and add the yeast then mix well until smoothly.
  2. Add the other flour and salt. Then mix and knead for about 10 min.
  3. Wrap the bowl with plastic film and let stand for about 2 hours at 25-30℃ place.
  4. Transfer the dough to bread board and cut into 16 pieces anemone on the cloth. Shape the dough into donuts forms.
  5. Boiling the water in a large pot, add the honey. Boil the bagel for about 1-2 min.
  6. Bake the bagel for about 13 min at 200℃ oven.
