Pepper and Dried-Young Sardine with Fried-Simmer ピーマンとじゃこの炒め煮

Tuesday on CJStyle’s we have a Japanese Recipe Submitted by a Fan from Kyoto area and her pen-name goes by “Moe chan”. She sent this easy recipe to us over the weekend with some other recipe that we post later this week from her. (Thank you “Moe chan”.) It’s very delicious side dish, for those who really loves Green Peppers. Have a great Tuesday and we will see you here tomorrow. Enjoy
Ingredients
  • 2 pepper
  • 1 sheet(3㎝ square ) konbu kelp
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp dried- young sardine
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp mirin
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • ½ tbsp sake
  • toasted white sesame

Instructions
  1. Cut the pepper into 1㎝ wide pieces. Cut the konbu into strip and sprinkle the water.
  2. Heat the oil in a pot, and add the pepper and dried- young sardine and fry. Add the water, sake, mirin, and soy sauce and fry-simmer until liquid is gone.
  3. Arrange it a plate or small bowl, sprinkle the toasted white sesame.
