Pork with Chili-Sauce 豚のチリソース

Well, Tuesday recipe on Cooking Japanese Style is a recipe called Pork with Chili-Sauce or 豚のチリソース in Japanese. This recipe can be made as a side dish when you have left over pork that you only have a small portion of or it can be a main dish for the family. Enjoy and we will see you all tomorrow.
Ingredients
  • 160g Pork fillets
  • 20g long green onion
  • 1 knob garlic
  • 1 knob ginger
  • 1 /2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • flour
  • vegetable oil for deep-fry
  • 50 cc water
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp sake
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • ½ starch
  • ¼ tsp granules Chinese soup stock
  • chopped sprig onion

Instructions
  1. Cut the garlic and ginger into finely chop. Strike the entire surface of pork with back of the knife, and sprinkle the salt and pepper on both side.
  2. Coat the pork with flour and deep-fry until crispy.
  3. Heat the oil in a frying pan, fry the long green onion , garlic, and ginger. Combine the water, ketchup, sake, sugar, soy sauce, starch, and granules Chinese soup stock, and mix well. And add it to frying pan. When it became to thicken, add the deep-fried pork and toss together.
  4. Arrange it in a plate, sprinkle the chopped spring onion.
