Hello everyone, another week gone by and starting a new week.  I have added this recipe today to give a little mix in recipe instead of going with only one topic for the whole week, so this Friday is a new category coming.  It will be called Restaurant Reviews in Kansai area of Japan, if we have time we will go around Japan and do reviews.  So I hope you look forward to that category.

Simmered Chicken Meat Ball and Beans noodles 鶏だんごと春雨の煮物

Well, for today’s recipe on Cooking Japanese Style we have a dish called Simmer Chicken Meat Balls and Beans Noodles or 鶏だんごと春雨の煮物 in Japanese. If you are look to try something different with your meat balls, then this is the recipe you should try. Very easy to make and very tasty and I’m sure your family will love it too. Ingredients
  • 200g chicken ground meat
  • ⅕ bunch MIZUNA
  • ½ beaten egg
  • 1 tsp ginger juice
  • 1 tsp sake
  • 1 tsp starch
  • salt
  • 40g beans noodles
  • 2 cup water
  • 1 tsp granules chicken soup stock
  • 2 tbsp mirin
  • 2 soy sauce
  • ½ tsp starch

Instructions
  1. Wash the MIZUNA and chop off the ends of MIZUNA, and cut into 3 ㎝ pieces
  2. Put the ground meat chicken, beaten egg, ginger juice, sake, starch, soy sauce, and salt and mix well and shape the ball. Boil the chicken meat ball. Boil the beans noodles and drain.
  3. Put the water, granules chicken soup stock, mirin, soy sauce, starch ,and salt into a pot, and bring to the boil. Add the meat balls and beans noodles and simmer for 2-3min, Add the MIZUNA and turn off the heat.
