Hello Everyone.  It looks like I’m having some problem posting this recipe, so I’m working on it now and hopefully it will come out where everyone can understand.  So how I lost what I wrote when I posted it earlier this morning, so I will write this cause I kinda forgot what I wrote.  Sorry.  It’s just one of those day I guess.

Home made Fried Chicken KFC Style 風フライドチキン

Here’s a recipe I found in an Old Cook book I found at an Old Used Book Store. I have never made Chicken like this before cause it took so long to prepare for, but my Hubby wanted me to make it for the family and see how it turns out. So after getting the prep done waited half the day to get ready to cook, it turned out to be Awesomely Delicious. So I think I will be make this more often then now. Enjoy
Ingredients
  • 450 grams Chicken Tights
  • Preparation For the Chicken
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Sugar
  • 250 cc Water
  • For the Batter
  • 70 grams all Purpose Flour
  • 70 grams Starch( potato starch or corn starch)
  • 30 grams Bread Crumbs
  • 2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Spice of Salad
  • ¼ teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • ½ teaspoon Dried Parsley
  • ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 Egg
  • 50 cc Milk
  • Vegetable Oil for Deep Fry

Instructions
  1. Preparation of chicken: Cut the Chicken into 4-5 pieces. Place the water, salt and sugar into a large bowl and mix. Soak the chicken in that liquid for 8-10 hours.
  2. Beat the egg, and add the milk and mix well. Place the all ingredients of batter into a other large bowl, and mix well.
  3. Remove the chicken from liquid, Wipe the chicken dry with paper towel and cut into 10-12 pieces. Coat the egg mixture, batter mixture, egg mixture again, then batter again.
  4. Deep fry at 160-165℃, for about 4 minute.
