Hello everyone, since I have been in Japan for some many years I don’t have enough fingers to count the years.  There are some much different kinds of food here that I haven’t tried yet and I think it’s time for me to take that challenge on. (Better late then never)  Got to at least try it once and decide if I like it or not.  So the first challenge is Natto, didn’t try just don’t like the smell of it. But a lot of people say it’s delicious and healthy for the body.  So here we go with the Natto.

My Challenge Number 1 Natto

Natto is a very healthy and easy to make for breakfast or even for lunch. There are so many ways to enjoy natto and I will try to post more about natto after I try them out.
Ingredients
  • 1 pack of Natto
  • 1 egg
  • soy sauce
  • 1 bowl of hot rice ready

Instructions
  1. First open the natto pack and inside the pack there should be 2 small packets. One packet is mustard and the other is dashi. Open both packs and add it to the the natto and mix well.
  2. Next add shoyu to the natto then mix well.
  3. When your done mixing your natto, add the natto to your rice and make small hole in the middle of the natto and rice.
  4. Then add your egg, then mix the natto and rice all together and enjoy.
