Well, today on Cooking Japanese Style we have a recipe called Easy Beef stroganoff Japanese-Style or 簡単ビーフストロガノフ in Japanese. This is a very delicious and easy recipe to make for the family. My kids love when I make this for them, I think I don't make it enough. Ingredients
  • 250g sliced beef, cut into strips
  • 1 onion, cut into thinly slice
  • 12 mushroom, cut in half
  • 4 tsp paprika
  • 4 tbsp flour
  • 200 cc fresh cream
  • 200 cc Worcester sauce
  • 300 cc red wine + 100 cc ketchup ( If you have "madeira wine", use 400 cc madera wine.)
  • 400 cc water
  • vegetable oil
  • salt and pepper
Instructions
  1. Put the beef in a bowl and add the salt, pepper, paprika, and flour in this order. Mix and rub well.
  2. Heat the oil into a frying pan and fry the onion and mushrooms briefly. Add the beef and fry .
  3. When become to half cooked of beef, add the red wine and ketchup and off the alcohol briefly. Add the fresh cream worcester sauce, and water and simmer briefly over a high heat.
