Day #6 Japanese-Style Vegetable ANKAKE(和風野菜のあんかけ)

Ingredients
  • 1 bunch komatsuna
  • ½ carrot
  • 150g thinly sliced pork
  • ¼ onion
  • ¼ Chinese cabbage
  • 2 cups dashi stock
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sake
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp mirin
  • 2 tbsp starch + 2 tbsp water
Instructions
  1. Cut the komatsuna, carrot, Chinese cabbage into 5 ㎝ long pieces. Cut the onion into thinly slice. Cut the pork into bite-size pieces.
  2. Heat the oil in a frying pan, add the pork, onion, carrot, Chinese cabbage, and komatsuna and stir-fry. They are cooked, add the dashi stock, sake, mirin, sugar and soy sauce and bring to boil.
  3. Add the starch dissolved in the water to the pan to thicken the sauce.
