Simmered Tofu and Roe of Pollock 豆腐と明太子煮

- 1 roe of pollock(mentaiko)
- 1 pack tofu
- ½ bunch mizuna
- 1 cup dashi stock
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- salt
- Cut the roe of pollock into 2-3 equal pieces. Drain the tofu for about 20-30 min, and cut into 8 equal pieces. Chop off the end of mizuna, and cut into 4㎝ length pieces.
- Put the dash stock, sake, mirin, soy sauce and salt into a pot, and bring to the boil. Add the tofu, and mizuna and cook. When it cooked, add the roe of pollock and simmer briefly.
