Today on Cooking Japanese Style we have a recipe called Miso Soup with Pork or 豚汁 in Japanese. I was craving for this for a while and finally decided to make it, I think I was at the book store the other day looking at the cooking magazines and it looked delicious. So I made it last night, it was a good choice cause it was a bit chilly last night. so the Miso Soup kept us warm for the night. We I hope you enjoy this recipe and Keep on Cooking!!

Ingredients
  • 100g Thinly Sliced Pork Belly
  • 4㎝ White Radish
  • 4㎝ Carrot
  • 1 Potato
  • ¼ Long Green Onion
  • 1 tbsp. Vegetable Oil
  • 2 cups Dashi Stock
  • 1 tbsp. Sake
  • 2 tbsp. Miso
Instructions
  1. Peel the white radish, carrot ,and potato, cut into 2-3㎜ quarter -rounds. Cut the long green onion into edge-cut. Cut the pork belly into bite-size pieces
  2. Heat the oil into a pot, add the white radish, carrot, potato, and pork belly,and fry. When they are all fried, add the dash stock, and simmer while skimming off the foam until in the ingredients tender.
  3. Add the sake, miso and long green onion, when it almost come to the boil, turn off the heat.
