Here’s a delicious dessert called Pumpkin Pudding. Very sweet and good for summer time, and your family will enjoy eating this. I recently made this, this past weekend for the kids. Cause they have been out of school for a week due to the swine flu going around in Osaka and Kobe. Well, let’s get started with what we need to get going with the cooking. Now that we have all that we need to get started, let’s get started with the cooking.
Ingredients
  • 1 large pumpkin (note: if you are outside of Japan, a large pumpkin here will be your medium. I have seen pumpkins in the US and we don’t have or we don’t usually buy that amount of pumpkin here.)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 50g of sugar
  • 1 cup of milk

Instructions
  1. First we need to cut the top part of the pumpkin and take out the seeds from the inside.
  2. Next we need a bowl to add our egg, yolk, sugar and mix these ingredients together. After this mix for a bit, add your coconut milk. Now using a cloth to filter, pour your mix into the pumpkin.
  3. Now we need to steam our pumpkin for about 40 minutes in a steamer.
  4. At last we need to cool it down in the refrigerator for about 1 hour. Next we need to cut our pumpkin and server.
  5. There you have Pumpkin Pudding, goes great with coffee. I usually have mines with Hawaii Mac coffee.
