Here’s a recipe I really love making as well as eating. I reminds me of home (Hawaii). So we have a very easy salad to make called Lomi Lomi Tomato Salad, taken from from the dish called Lomi Lomi Salmon. Made the same way without the salmon. Lomi lomi in Hawaiian mean massage, so when you mix this salad all together you use your hands. This is great for those big party’s and Holiday’s seasons. Enjoy

Lomi Salmon

  • 3 tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 2 stems of green onion
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 tsp of sea salt
  • 1 tbsp of apple cider vinegar (note: I couldn’t find any apple cider in any of the super markets near where we live so I used green grape cider vinegar).

  1. Firstly we are going to chop our green onions, tomatoes, and onions. Then cut lemon in half and squeeze out the juice and set aside.
  2. Get a big bowl and all the ingredients in side. Before mixing make sure you wash your hands. Mix with your hands and get everything all together to become as one.
  3. After mixing wrap and put in the refrigerator for 30 mins to an hour before serving. (To get the best flavor).
  4. Now your ready to serve in a bowl.
