Baked Cheese Cake

Good Morning Everyone, I didn’t have time to write a description yesterday to I’m write this now. This Japanese Cooking Recipe is called Baked Cheese Cake. This was submitted by one of my friends at work, she had some time on her hands and made some and brought it to work to share with everyone. Very delicious cake too. I hope you enjoy this recipe. Let’s get started with what we need to make our Baked Cheese Cake.
  • 2 pack cream cheese
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 200g sour cream
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • ¼ tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • For Crust
  • 1 box graham crackers
  • 75g butter
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ cup sugar

  1. To make crust: Crush the cracker in a bowl until like bread crumbs, add the all spices, melted butter and sugar and mix well.
  2. Press into a bottom of a baking pan.
  3. To make cheese cake fillings: Separate eggs, put whites to one side, beat yolks with a mixer until thick and pale.
  4. Add the sour cream, salt, flour, and ¾ cup of sugar, vanilla extract and liquor if desired, mix well. (Sour cream should be softened before mixing).
  5. Add the cream cheese and whisk until smooth. Set mixture set aside.
  6. Beat the egg whites until foamy, slowly add ¼ cup of sugar, beating whites until stiff and shiny.
  7. Slowly add egg white mixture into cheese mixture. Fold together. Pour mixture over preheat crust and smooth top.
  8. Bake for 1 hour at 165℃ or until the center does not wobble if gently shaken.
