Kidney Beans with Sesame Dressing いんげんの胡麻和え

Today’s Japanese Cooking Style is called Kidney Beans with Sesame Dressing or いんげんの胡麻和え in Japanese. This very delicious dish and makes very good side dish for any main course meal. Enjoy. Let’s see what we need to make our Kidney Beans with Sesame Dressing Dish.
  • 100g kidney beans
  • pinch of salt
  • 3 tbsp parched sesame
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  1. String the kidney beans, place in boiling salted water and boil for a few minutes, soak in cold water, drain and cut into 3㎝ lengths.
  2. Grind the sesame in a grinding bowl, when the sesame are half- paste like , add the sugar, vegetable oil, and soy sauce, and continue grind to make smooth.
  3. Place the kidney beans into the grinding bowl, and mix well with the dressing.
