Sweet Salty flavor Potato 甘辛粉ふきいも

Today on Cooking Japanese Style we have a recipe called Sweet-Salty flavor Potato or 甘辛粉ふきいも in Japanese. This make a great side dish to go with any main course meal, I recommend have this with beef or pork recipe. This is very simple to make and something a little different from your regular mash potato or baked potato. I hope that you enjoy making this recipe.   • 600g potatoes
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp butter

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut in quarter. Soak in water and boil until tender.
  2. Combine the soy sauce and sugar in a pan and bring to the boil. Add the potato and boil to the slowly. Coat the potatoes with sauce.
  3. When the sauce is almost gone, add the butter and toss the potatoes.
