Omelet Rice オムライス

Today is Video Monday so on Cooking Japanese Style we have a recipe called Omelet Rice or オムライス in Japanese. This is a very easy recipe to make for the family; it can either be for breakfast or dinner. I hope that our cooking video is enough instructions to understand how to make this recipe.   • 4 egg
  • ½ onion, cut into chop
  • 2 sliced ham, cut into chop
  • 1cup frozen mix vegetable
  • 2 portion cooked rice
  • 3 tbsp ketchup
  • salt and pepper

  1. Heat the oil in a frying pan. Add the onion, ham, and mix vegetables and fry. Add the cooked rice and continue to fry and season with salt and pepper. Add the ketchup and stir- fry.
  2. Beat the egg in a small bowl. Heat the oil in a frying pan and pout in the beaten egg and expand over the frying pan and fry over medium heat.
  3. While the center of egg is still soft, put the ketchup rice. Transfer to serving plate by turning over the whole pan so that the omelet will come out on top on the plate.
