Fried Rice with Tofu 豆腐チャーハン

Today on Cooking Japanese Style we have a very easy recipe called Fried Rice with Tofu or 豆腐チャーハン in Japanese. This is great for breakfast or dinner, this is also good when you don’t want to eat something heavy or not in the mood to make something big. Enjoy Let’s see what we need to make our Fried Rice with Tofu
  • 1 pack tofu
  • 600g cooked rice
  • ½ long green onion, cut into fine chopping
  • 1 pack radish sprout, cut into 3 equal pieces
  • 1 knob ginger, cut into fine strips
  • 10g shio konbu cut into fine chopping
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • pepper

  1. Wrap the tofu in kitchen paperand put some weight on top to drain off excess water.
  2. heat the sesame oil in frying pan, and mash the tofu and into a frying pan, then fry.
  3. Add the cooked rice and fry. Add the long green onion, radish sprout, and ginger and fry continue.
  4. Add the shio konbu and stir- fry. Serve it on a plate and sprinkle the pepper.
