Curry Soup with Pork and Vegetables 豚バラと根菜のカレースープ

Serves: 4

  • 300g pork belly, cut into bite- size pieces
  • 1 onion, cut into bite-size pieces
  • 1 carrot, cut into bite-size pieces
  • 1 turnip, cut into bite size pieces
  • vegetable oil
  • 1 knob garlic, cut into finely chop
  • 1 knob ginger, cut into finely chop
  • 2 tbsp mentsuyu
  • 700cc hot water
  • 2 knob curry roux
  • 150g boiled soy beans

  1. Heat the oil in a pot and add the garlic and ginger and fry. When it starts to smell good, add the pork and fry.
  2. Add the all vegetables and fry briefly. Pour the hot water and add the men-tsuyu, curry roux, and boiled soy beans and simmer for about 20-30 min.
