Cold Shabu Shabu with Spaghetti Plum Sauce 牛しゃぶと梅ソーススパゲッティ

  • 200g spaghetti
  • 150g thinly slice beef
  • ½ onion
  • 5 green perilla
  • salt and sake
  • For Plum sauce:
  • 1 tbsp grind onion
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp pickled plum (off the seed)
  • ¼ cup water
  • ¼ men-tsuyu

  1. Bring water to the boil in a pot and add the salt and sake. Put the sliced beef and boil for few second, and transfer to the ice water and drain.
  2. Cut the onion into thinly slice and the green perilla into finely strips. Combine the ingredients of plum sauce and set aside.
  3. Bring water to boil in a large pot and boil the spaghetti. When it the boiled, transfer to the cold water and drain.
  4. Place the spaghetti in a dish, and put the beef, onion, and green perilla. Pour over the plum sauce.
