Day #2 Hamburger with Lotus(レンコンバーグ)

  • 300g beef and pork ground meat
  • 150g Lotus
  • ⅓ carrot
  • ½ onion
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 4 tbsp milk
  • salt and pepper
  • vegetable oil
  • soy sauce, ketchup, BBQ sauce, sake, and water for sauce.

  1. Cut the onion, carrot and lotus into finely chop.
  2. Put the ground meat into a bowl, add the onion, carrot, lotus, and egg and mix with your hand. Add the bread crumbs, milk, salt and pepper and mix well. Then rolling circle shape.
  3. Heat the oil in a frying pan; cook the hamburger until through the heat and brown. Transfer the cooked hamburger on a plate, Put the soy sauce, ketchup, BBQ sauce, sake, and water and simmer until thickly.
