Hi, everyone. Today, I showing the recipe in here is  “Dumpling ( GYO-ZA)” . It is very simple and basic type’s dumpling. The ingredients are very simple, key point is how to bake, the surface is crispy and inside is juicy…. It is very delicious , please try it.

Dumplings 餃子
Recipe type: Appetizers
Cuisine: Japanese
Serves: 26 pieces

  • 1 pack dumpling’s dough ( sold in store)
  • 100g pork ground meat
  • ⅙ Chinese cabbage
  • 3 spring onion
  • 1 knob ginger
  • 1 tsp granules chicken soup base
  • 2 soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sake
  • starch
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 mug cup water
  • vegetable oil
  • For dipping sauce:
  • soy sauce
  • vinegar
  • chili oil

  1. Cut the Chinese cabbage, spring onion, and ginger into finely chop. Place the all vegetables in a large bowl, and coat the starch.
  2. Add the ground meat into a large bowl, and add the granules chicken soup base, soy sauce, sake, salt and pepper and mix well.
  3. Combine the flour and water, then mix well, Set aside.
  4. Put the meat mixture in the middle of each dough’s circle, fold in half and pinch together.
  5. Heat the oil in a frying pan, place the dumpling and pour the flour dissolved in water, steam- bake with lid until moisture is gone.
  6. Serve with dipping sauce.
