Hello everyone, It’s Friday and I got the whole weekend off.  I wonder what the hubby has in plan for us and I have to think what I’m going to make for dinner.  Been surfing a lot of Foodie Blogs this pass week and saw some really great recipes I wanted to try, I better make my shopping list tonight for our shopping day tomorrow.

Diet Recipe#5 CHIKUWA and Celery Salad ちくわとセロリのサラダ

Well today’s recipe here on Cooking Japanese Style is a dish called Chikuwa and Celery Salad or ちくわとセロリのサラダ in Japanese. So far my diet has been going great and I have only 1 more kilo to lose, so my clothes can fit. lol Some how I find it very hard to celery here in the supermarkets and I’m not sure why. I think they maybe imported from some where, I will ask one of our friends that’s a manager of one the major supermarket chain here in the Kansai area.   • ½ celery
  • ½ cucmber
  • 40g chikuwa fish sausage
  • little of your favorite dressing

  1. Cut the all ingredients into thinly slice and put in a bowl, and mix.
  2. Arrange then on a plate or bowl, pour the dressing. ( do not too much dressing )
