Roots and Kyo-na Salad Japanese Style れんこんと京菜のサラダ

Today’s Japanese Cooking Recipe is a Salad called Roots and Kyo-na Salad Japanese Style or れんこんと京菜のサラダ in Japanese. This is a very delicious salad and very easy to make. I hope that you enjoy this Japanese Style Salad. Let’s get going with what we need to make our Roots and Kyo-na Salad Japanese Style.
  • 12㎝ Roots
  • ⅓ bunch kyo-na
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • ½ tsp soy sauce
  • ½ tsp kuro-zu(black vinegar) or balsamic
  • sesame
  • salt and pepper

  1. Cut the KYO-NA into 2㎝ length pieces, and rinse into cold water for 10 min, Drain and pat.
  2. Cut the roots into the thinly half-moon, and grill.
  3. Combine the sesame oil, soy sauce, kuro-zu, toasted sesame, salt and pepper, and mix well, make to dressing.
  4. Arrange the KYO-NA in a dish plate, place the roots on top, pour over the dressing and mix briefly.
