Crispy Gizzard Salad 砂肝サラダ

Good Morning Everyone, I hope everyone’s week has been going great. Everything on my end of the world is going great too. The weather a bit chilly and sunny. Today’s Japanese Cooking Recipe is called Crispy Gizzard Salad or 砂肝サラダ in Japanese. My hubby just loves this salad as he loves to eat gizzards. This is very tasty and easy to make. Enjoy. Let’s see what we need to make our Crispy Gizzard Salad shall we.
  • 200g gizzard
  • ½ pack rocket
  • ½ baby leaf
  • 2 leaves lettuce
  • ½ glove garlic
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • salt and pepper

  1. Cut the gizzard into 4 equal pieces and cut the garlic into mince.
  2. Place 1 tbsp. olive oil and garlic in a frying pan and over a low heat, and fry. When the garlic becomes brown, remove the garlic from the frying pan. Add the gizzard, salt and pepper and fry over a high heat until crispy.
  3. Soak the vegetable in cold water for about 10min, and drain and pat, and tear into bite-size. Place the vegetables in a bowl, add 1 tbsp. olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper and mix briefly, add the gizzard and arrange to a plate
