Eggplant Caviar-Style なすのキャビア風

Today on this rain day at Cooking Japanese Style we have a recipe called Eggplant Caviar Style or なすのキャビア風 in Japanese. This is a great recipe for when you have guest or a party over the house.   • 3 eggplant
  • 1 tbsp miso
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • vegetable oil
  • pepper

  1. Grill the eggplant, when the skin is crispy and inside soft, peel while soaking in cold water.
  2. Cut the eggplant into mince, and mix with vegetable oil.
  3. Place the miso and honey into a small pan, while stirring over a low heat.
  4. Add the miso sauce into the eggplant, little by little, and mix well. Arrange it on a small bowl, sprinkle the pepper. Eat to put on baguette, cooked rice, or cracker etc.
