Tofu and Maitake Mushroom Stir-Fry 豆腐とまいたけの炒り豆腐

Here on Cooking Japanese style we have a very health side dish or main dish for you called Tofu and Maitake Mushroom Stir Fry or 豆腐とまいたけの炒り豆腐 in Japanese. This is a very easy recipe to make and I think that your family will enjoy this recipe very much. Let’s see what ingredients we need to make our Tofu and Maitake Mushroom Stir Fry.
  • 1 pack hard tofu
  • 1 pack white maitake mushroom
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • soy sauce
  • salt and pepper

  1. Wrap the tofu with kitchen paper and put some weight on top drain off excess water. Cut the maitake mushroom into bite-size pieces.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan, and stir-fry the maitake mushroom and tofu.
  3. Seasoning with salt and add a little of soy sauce and sprinkle the pepper.
  4. Add the beaten egg and stir-fry briefly.
