Tuna and Squid with Granted Yam まぐろといかのとろろ和え

Here’s Friday’s recipe on Cooking Japanese Style a dish called Tuna and Squid with Granted Yam or まぐろといかのとろろ和え in Japanese. This great seafood recipe that has tuna as well as squid, this is something that may be different for a lot of people. This is a very delicious dish, try and let me know how it worked for you.   • 100g of Tuna ( for sashimi)
  • 50g of squid (for sashimi)
  • 100g Yams
  • pickled plum
  • kinome sprouts( If you have)
  • 1 tsp pickled plum
  • ½ tsp mirin
  • ½ tsp soy sauce

  1. Cut the tuna into 2㎝ cube pieces, and squid into strips.
  2. Combine the pickled plum, mirin, and soy sauce and mix well.
  3. Peel the yam and grated it.
  4. Places the grated yam in a plate, put the tuna and squid on top of the yam, pour the plum sauce and garnish with kinome sprouts.
