Hello Everyone.  Hope that your weekend is going great so far.  It’s a beautiful day here in Japan and there’s a nice breeze blow in the air.  I think we are going to have a picnic in the park this afternoon.  Not sure what the hubby is making for lunch, cause he was up very early this morning cooking something in the kitchen..  I can’t wait to see what it is.  Well, I will make this short, cause I need to get ready.  Have a good Sunday and I hope you enjoy today’s Recipe.

Diet Recipe#10 White Radish Steak 大根ステーキ

Here’s my Healthy Dist Japanese recipe #10 called Radish Steak or 大根ステーキ in Japanese. This dish is really delicious even if your not on a diet. The taste is totally unbelievable and this is something I recommend everyone to try. Enjoy
  • 300 grams White Radish
  • 1 teaspoon Granules Soup Stock
  • 2 cup Water
  • 2 teaspoon Butter
  • 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 2 teaspoon Sugar

  1. Peel the white radish and cut into 5㎝ thick round slice.
  2. Place the white radish in a frying pan, add the granules soup stock and water, simmer for about 10 minute with lid
  3. Remove the lid, add the butter and cook until almost liquid is gone. Then, cook to both side until little brown.
  4. Add the soy sauce and sugar and cook briefly.
