Living in Japan for so long, one thing I really love is the access to very fresh sea food in Supermarkets. Now it’s getting close to the New Year, you can find some good sales on sea food. Shopping for my next video recipe, the supermarket we always go to had a great sale on some large shrimp. So we bought some and decided to make this easy and simple Japanese dish called Ebi Butter Yaki. Using only 3 ingredients you will be done in less then 20 minutes. Enjoy

Ingredients
  • 6 large size shrimp
  • 2 tbsp of butter
  • 1 tbsp of sliced garlic
  • salt (your preference)

Instructions
  1. Pre-heat stove to medium low. When your pan is ready add your butter and let it melt around the pan and then add your sliced garlic.
  2. When the garlic is a little brown add your shrimp to the pan. The shrimp will cook fast, so we will cook each side for 3 minutes each. About 2 minute in, add your salt enough to your taste. Flip over and do the other side too.
  3. Take your shrimps out of the pan and ready to server. Option cut a slice of lemon on the side to squeeze on the shrimp for more flavor.
