Apple Cake 林檎のケーキ
Recipe type: Dessert

  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 80g whole wheat flour
  • 20g almond powder
  • ¼tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • ½ apple, cut into thinly strips

  1. Drop the egg into a bowl, and beaten briefly. Add the maple syrup and vegetable oil and mix well.
  2. Combine the flour, almond powder, salt and baking powder and sift then, and transfer into beaten egg bowl, and fold together, add the apple.
  3. Place the oil in a frying pan, over a heat, scoop up the cake mixture and spread into 15cm circle and 1cm thick. Cover the frying pan and it over a low heat and cook for about 7-8min. Cook both side until light brown.
  4. Pour over the maple syrup on the cake, and serve immediately.
