Pear Crumb Cake 洋梨のクラムケーキ

Today on Cooking Japanese Style we have a delicious dessert we want to share, which was submitted from a friend we have drinks with once and a while. She loves her fruits and especially she loves pears. She tried this cake out a couple times and I got to taste it once when we went over to her house to have some coffee. It’s was very delicious and it went great with our coffee. I hope that you enjoy making this delicious dessert. Have a great day. Let’s see what ingredients we need to make our Pear Crumb Cake.
  • For crumb:
  • 10 tbsp flour
  • 4 tbsp brown sugar
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • For Filling:
  • 1 egg
  • 200 cc fresh cream
  • 1 tbsp rum
  • 2 pears
  • vanilla essence

  1. Make to crumb: Place the flour, sugar, and butter in a bowl and rub with your fingertips. The texture should become like crumbing.
  2. Make to filling: Place the egg, fresh cream, rum, and vanilla essence in a bowl and mix until smoothly.
  3. Cut the pear in half size and place on the bake dish. Pour the mixture of “2” on the pear. Then place the crumbs on the top and bake for about 50-60 min at 170℃ in oven.
