Today’s Cooking Japanese Style is called Home made Cottage Cheese or 手作りカッテージチーズ in Japanese. A great friend of mines shared this me a couple years back, because I just love Cottage Cheese. Since they are small packaged and expensive here Japan, she thought me how to make my own Cottage cheese. Which I’m very grateful that she did. So now I can enjoy it anytime I want and also create my own. Enjoy Let’s see what we need to create your own Cottage Cheese.
  • 750 cc milk
  • 1½ lemon juice
  • a little of salt

  1. Warm the milk at 40℃. Add the lemon juice and salt, stir-greatly, when it divided into liquid and white lump, strain with coffee filter until hardness of your taste.
