Here’s a a non-Japanese Style recipe, after watching Hell’s Kitchen for the pass month. I have never tried a Risotto dish and I wanted to try it and decided to make it for the family. It took me twice to make it cause the first try I burnt the risotto, in the back of my mind on the first try was hearing Chef Ramsay Shouting at me “You Burnt the Risotto, You!!”. So I tossed it out and started all over again and the second try turn out to be great. Whew.. Well, I hope you enjoy this recipe and Keep on Cooking!!
  • 100g Rice
  • ¼ Onion, Finely Chop
  • 30g Butter
  • 2 tbsp Sake or White Wine
  • 1 cube Soup Stock Cube
  • 500 cc Hot water
  • 50g Parmesan Cheese
  • ½ tsp Salt and Pepper

  1. Heat the butter(15g) in a pan, add the onion and fry. Put the soup stock cube into a hot water, and make to soup.
  2. Add the rice(not wash)and fry until coat the oil for rice. Add the sake and fry for about 2 minute. Add the Soup (2-3 ladle amount). When it almost liquid is gone, add the next soup. You can cook to total 15 minute.
  3. Turn off the heat, add the butter(15g) and parmesan cheese and mix well.
