Cabbage and Egg Croquette キャベツと卵のコロッケ

Today on Cooking Japanese Style we have a recipe called Cabbage and Egg Croquette or キャベツと卵のコロッケ in Japanese. I tried this a while back and it turned out pretty good and it was very delicious too. This is very easy to make for the family. Enjoy Let’s see what we need to make our Cabbage and Egg Croquette Recipe.
  • 100g cabbage
  • 1 potato
  • 2 hard boiled eggs
  • salt and pepper
  • flour
  • beaten egg
  • bread crumbs
  • oil for deep-frying

  1. Cut the cabbage into roughly minces, and microwave on 1 min, let stand cool and squeeze out the moisture.
  2. Wash the potato, wrap with plastic wrap and microwave on 3-4 min, peel while they are hot, and them mash.
  3. Combine the cabbage and potato, and add the hardboiled egg, salt and pepper, mix well.
  4. Shape into balls, (If you it is hard for shape, add the 1 or 2 table spoons mayonnaise) Coat the flour, beaten egg, and breadcrumbs. Deep -fry at 170℃ until crispy.
  5. Serve with petit tomato and cut lemon.
