Onion and Potato Grill with Egg mayonnaise 紫玉葱とジャガイモのグリルマヨネーズソース

Today on Cooking Japanese Style we have a recipe called Onion and Potato Grill with Egg Mayonnaise or 紫玉葱とジャガイモのグリルマヨネーズソース in Japanese. This is great when you have guest over and want to try something different or this could great at BBQ’s and a side dish for a main course meal. Here I will explain how to make the Egg Mayonnaise sauce as well as the recipe itself. This is very simple to make for the family. Enjoy
  • 2 red onion
  • 2 potato
  • Egg Mayonnaise sauce:
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp minced red onion
  • 2 tbsp minced chive
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • salt and pepper
  • virgin olive oil
  • rock salt

  1. Put on the baking sheet with aluminum foil, cut the red onion in half, and place on to the aluminum foil. Bake for about 1 hour half. Wash the potato and wipe the moisture, and bake for about 45 min.
  2. Make to egg mayonnaise sauce. Boil the egg, cut the white part into mince, Place the egg into a bowl, add the red onion, chive, mayonnaise, salt and pepper, and mix well.
  3. Place the just cooked red onion and potato in a dish garnish with olive oil, rock salt and egg mayonnaise sauce.
