Meat Balls Sweden-Style スウェーデン風ミートボール

Today on Cooking Japanese Style we have a recipe called Meat Balls Sweden Style or スウェーデン風ミートボール in Japanese. One of the neighbors stopped by this morning with the recipe and wanted me to try it out. So I will make this for tonight dinner to see how it turns out. So wish me some luck. lol Let’s see what we need to make our Meat Balls Sweden Style, shall we.
  • 400g ground beef and pork
  • ½ onion, cut into finely chop
  • 25g bread crumb
  • 100ml milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½tsp pepper
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • For apple berry sauce:
  • 100g apple berry jam
  • 50ml white wine
  • 50ml water
  • salt and pepper

  1. Combine the bread crumb and milk. Put the ground meat, onion, combined bread crumb and milk, egg, salt, pepper, and nutmeg into a bowl and mix well.
  2. Soak your hands in water, make to the meat balls for 30 pieces. Heat the butter in a frying pan, and cook.
  3. Make to apple berry sauce: Place the white wine in a small pot and bring to a boil. Add the apple berry jam and water, and simmer for about
  4. min. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  5. Place the meat ball in a plate and garnish with apple berry sauce.
