Good afternoon everyone, a wet Thursday here for us and it looks like I’m staying indoors.

Seasoned Tuna with Avocados まぐろとアボカドの漬け
Recipe type: Main Dish, Seafood, Fish
Cuisine: Japanese
Serves: 2

Thursday’s recipe on Cooking Japanese Style is a great summer dish for lunch or dinner for the family called Seasoned Tuna with Avocado or まぐろとアボカドの漬け in Japanese. Very easy to make, less than 10 mins and very tasty. Enjoy and we will see you all here tomorrow.
  • 150g tuna
  • ½ green onion
  • 1 avocado
  • 1½ tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sake
  • 1 tbsp mirin

  1. Cut the tuna into bite-size pieces. Cut the green onion using the edge cut technique.
  2. Combine the soy sauce, sake and mirin in a bowl, and mix. Add the tuna and green onion, soaked in the sauce. Cover the bowl with wrap, and let stand for 5-10 min in a fridge.
  3. Peel the avocado and cut it into cube pieces, add it into a tuna’s bowl and tossing well.
  4. Serve with wasabi your taste.

There you have it. Hope you enjoy this, until next time let’s cook together. 次回は一緒に作りましょう~^^/~~ PS: If you enjoy my Daily recipe subscribe to my RSS Feed and I also have available my first e-Book, which is FREE to you for coming by and reading my Cooking Japanese Style. Thank you..
