Good Morning .  Finally I got today and tomorrow day off from work, I get to work on my Food Blog and pre-write some recipes for the coming weeks.  I’m still going strong with my dieting lost about 3 kilos so far and need 2 more kilos to be at my original weight.  I was wondering if you all had a great diet dish I could try and you would like to share with me, I would love to try some thing new.  So if you have a great recipe leave a comment below with the link.  Thanks.

Diet Recipe#4 Lettuce with Crab Thick Sauce レタスのかにあんかけソース

Well, back to the recipe of the day is a dish called Lettuce with Crab Thick Sauce or レタスのかにあんかけソース in Japanese. This is a very light meal and very healthy. I only made this for me cause it wasn’t enough to keep my family full in the stomach. Enjoy and we will see you in the kitchen tomorrow.
  • ¼ Lettuce, cut in half
  • 60 g Boiled Crab Meat
  • 200cc Dashi Stock
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Sake
  • ½ tbsp Mirin
  • 1 tbsp Water + 1 tbsp Starch

  1. Heat the frying pan, and put the lettuce, add the little of water and steam with lid.
  2. Boiling the dash stock in a pot, add the sake, mirin, and soy sauce, and add the crab meat.
  3. When it cooked, add the starch dissolved in the water, and thicken.
